Everyone needs to slow down once in a while and be aware of where they are right now. When learning drums, if you suck at playing something fast, you should slow down, paying attention, and listening to your drums. Otherwise you might just get yourself overwhelmed.
Remember, having control and being slow is better than being fast and sloppy.
